Private Somatic Healing Sessions Now Available!

Hypnotic Movement is a technique in which the muscles of the body are instructed to move themselves without conscious direction or control in order to release old traumas, restore flexibility, eliminate pain, and promote healing. Once a client experiences these unique and powerful movement patterns in their body, they can learn to perform these simple exercises on their own in order to exponentially increase the healing power of these movements. Hypnotic movement techniques are based on the ancient principle that our bodies already know how to heal themselves. All we must do is persuade the conscious mind to step aside and let the body do it. That's why all these movements require a light hypnotic trance in order to by-pass normal conscious controls. These movements may involve some supportive touch. That is, the therapist may hold the client's body in a twisted position that the body has assumed on it's own, to help the client relax in that position. They may involve therapeutic touch, in which the therapist directly channels healing energy to the client's body. Although therapeutic touch and supportive touch are helpful to somatic healing, they are not usually essential to its success.

Since I have become certified by the ARE/Edgar Cayce Institute of NYC back in April of 2007, many exciting changes have taken place on my healing path!

I have become a Reiki volunteer at Beth Israel Hospital in NYC as well as organizing a Reiki Meditation circle at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. I also volunteer at the Center for Health and Healing (a division of Beth Israel's Complimentary Care) offering Reiki treatments. I have been part of a Reiki training for nurses and staff of the hospital as well.
I recently gave a spectacular and awe inspiring Reiki Presentation with my friend and colleague, Geordie Numata at the JASA Organization for Seniors. A free hands on Reiki demonstration was given to more than 10 seniors who were very open to the Reiki energy and became instantly relaxed during their chair sessions .A 94 year old senior even feel asleep in my chair:)
Since then, I have been promoting my practice at Dr. Evan Sorkin's Chiropractic Care office in Brooklyn, NY.
Many patients with chronic pain have been relieved by the loving power of Reiki.
I am now the official organizer of the Brooklyn Law of Attraction and the Brooklyn Reiki Meetups!

On a personal note, I recently offered Reiki to my own Mother on a recent trip to Florida. She was having many different potentially serious health issues at the time. Upon placing my hands on her and walking her through a guided visualization excercise, she was transformed to a deep place of relaxation. She told me after she awakened that she had never in her entire life felt such a sense of deep peace and relaxation. Wow! The rewarding feeling of helping my own Parent was blissful indeed! She is now ready to learn Reiki herself for times I cannot be there in person!

Dr Usui believed that, if the effects were to be long lasting, people need to play an active part in their own healing. He therefore began to teach the five principals or precepts of Reiki. The five principals offer a simple guideline for daily conduct with others and self. He believed that the secret method of inviting happiness into your life is to aspire to live by these principals
